cops are out
so every once in a while i at last min look for one of my favorite ladies to have tea or coffee with get out as i get old sitting here alone gets tougher mentally as you all know. my normal chat partners are not picking up. so looked at couple online adds at a well known site, talked to a couple, as i do try to chat a bit to make sure we are on same mind set and maturity level. Strange that 4 girls, similar adds, all working at same location, all agreed to almost any type of tea i could think of. I am cutting back on my tea and coffee for health reasons latley, the caffine is killing me in old age, and it just set me off that cops are ruining my social life again

Re: cops are out
Remember when legalizing marijuana was going to open the flood gates and destroy society, so far ...nothing. in fact it's easy to ask, why wasn't this done sooner or even made illegal in the first pkace.corrupt ignorant people politicizing wedge issues. Time to do the right thing, legalize sex work and give hard working people in the industry the rights, respect and fair market opportunities they deserve

I know a woman who is on social assistance and has lost thousands of dollars due to a gambling addiction. She even went so far as to self ban herself at the casino, but was still able to slip past security. I've had to help a friend of mine buy food because cerb was late this month and her kitchen was bare. She spends $500 a month on cigarettes. My aunt died young of liver disease. She was an alcoholic. John says yes to a woman offering him a blowjob for $80 so she can feed her children. He is arrested and treated like a piece of trash for having basic human biological needs encoded into the DNA of every living organism on the planet earth. The police department puts 7 heavily armed vice cops in a hotel room waiting for some old guy with a boner to knock on the door. Meanwhile, Jane dies of a drug overdose because of a fentanyl patch she bought from her drug dealer of 10 years. The only reason laws are like this is because those involved in the sex industry can't speak out for fear of being labeled abnormal. Ironic since those involved in it include politicians, teachers, lawyers, doctors and police officers. As one cop put it, "cops need lovin' too". Current laws are wrong, do harm, and punish good people.

Re: cops are out
Well said G. I agree totally.
I have often wondered why we look on drug addicted people as "criminals"? Even the Canadian Association of Police Chiefs wants to de-criminalize possession of small amounts of drugs. Bottom line is that we all have brain receptors that release endorphins when exposed to certain substances. Among them are alcohol, nicotine, and cocaine. Sex is also in this category. Politicians know better, but are afraid of being accused of being "soft" on crime so they remain silent. We are all products of our flawed biology. |

Re: cops are out
I'd say it's more victims of our flawed societal "norms" and "mores" and the people who ensure they're cemented into our laws. Don't forget how the countries over here were established and by what mindset of people. Free thinking, free living people don't have these archaic laws (cf. European countries). Want to get rid of "human trafficking"? Legalize it. License it. Tax it. |
