Are the parlors still the same after new bill pass?
Hello I'm new on this forums as well I've recently move to this city of London from a place much more boring. So bare with me on my first post on here.
My question is: I move here just before hearing on radio and news that the city pass a new bill a bylaw for no touching. First off i wanted to see for my self if it was even going to pass, I couldn't find the entrance to city hall all the door were lock. So I though I had the wrong day... Nop they pass it while keeping people out! Any how so I've been trying to read up on this thing and its a little confusing? Maybe you guys might be able to clear this up a bit? There saying that the parlors as in adultEA and sweetcity and such do apply to this new bylaw.... But how? There massage parlors. Can some one clear this up for me? I've only been to some of the parlors like bliss a few time, I've found them enjoyable as well as stress relaxful. Kinda suck that might end up changing. I hope I didn't just move to a city that is now more boring then where I lived last. |

Re: Are the parlors still the same after new bill pass?
The no touch law refers to strip clubs, not massage parlours.
Local sex workers and dancers are trying to eliminate the law because they say it puts women at risk. It's another stupid law in a long line of stupid laws. If a woman says I can touch her tit, that's her choice. Why is it, I can go to Victoria Park and have a topless woman sit on my lap, but if a fully clothed dancer does that in a club, she gets a heavy fine? They are trying to legislate morality, or their interpretation of it. London "moralists" hate strip clubs and massage parlours and will pull every trick in the book to squeeze them out of business. Sexual assault is when you do something against another person's will. If two consenting adults are doing something that isn't a threat to themselves or others, then let them be. London Ontario has no right having a law like this. It's like creating a law that states we have to wear formal clothing when entering McDonalds. It's not based on safety and violates basic human rights. Keep in mind, this is the same city that got in deep shit for not allowiing a gay pride parade. We are also the first city in Canada to use the new C36 laws to charge an ****** agency, and so far that agency is winning the fight in the courts. Not even the idiots in our city hall can stop touching in a massage parlour. www.lfpress.com/2017/12/04/strip-clubs-sex-workers-slam-no-touch-bylaw

The city didn't get in shit for not allowing a gay pride parade. They got in shit for not offering the proclamation or flying the flag at city hall when they did those things for other events.

Oh ya ive forgotten about that case. Interesting the media doesn't talk much about that one. I didn't know it's still going on. Thank for the reply on my First post. You were helpful on clearing some of that for me. As for a city full of moralists figure that why there some guy yelling in a bowhorn down town in the evening quoting scripture in my ear while i weighting for croswalk. I'm just surprise there some cities starting to open up but London seem to be taking steps back. |

Consider what's allowed in swingers bars and gay bath houses... consent. It's pretty unfair for consent to be a double standard for strip clubs or parlors.
