I think to determine this you would have to check their waste baskets and count the used coffee cups. Of course, this would not account for those who have their coffee without using a cup

Hmmm... What about lids and sleeves? If you don't put a lid on your coffee, you could burn your lips or tongue. If you don't put on one of those cardboard sleeves, you could burn your fingers.
