These are not my original ideas, of course, since I have seen many of these terms used in reviews and there are many more we can come up with.
As for being critical of those who don't post reviews - I will not generally post a review unless I can add something significant that other reviews of the SP have missed or maybe to add an opposing view. I would also generally be hesitant to post a really negative review unless the overall experience is really bad and the SP is clearly not fulfilling expectations. Maybe we all can work on being a little more honest regarding pointing out those things that fall short of expectations and this may also help SP's to improve. Everyone can benefit from constructive criticism. If ya have a crappy meal in a restaurant but you smile and tell the server it was great and then you never go back nobody wins. Anybody can have a bad day.
When doing a review you can use subjective criteria or you can use objective criteria.

When a reviewer says "looks better" or "is attractive" "skills are outstanding" they are using subjective criteria. There is no way to quantify "skills" or "looks" or attractiveness. All of it is in the eye of the beholder, and what one person considers mad skillz, another may think meh.

Whereas when a reveiwer states "she was 30 lbs heavier" or "ten years older" than her pics, he is using an objective criteria. Things like age and weight can be quantified and are not opinions.

Then the reader can make a decision on the review and take that into consideration when deciding whether or not to see that SP in question.

I think there are times when the reviews are incredibly misleading, and while I agree with Gerald that clients try to leverage the prospect of a good review, there are also ladies from this board and other places who try to leverage service for good reviews.
We haven't had a meet and greet in a few years, and they were useful for networking because then you could see what many of the ladies look like in person without an initial commitment.
Unfortunately you expressed what seem like honest opinions and got criticized by some, called a coward, and as often happens, you probably feel that your comments were not welcomed, while at the same time being told you should have posted your honest opinions and reviews in the past. The "welcome to London Sugar and please participate and don't be afraid to post your opinions but make sure you don't say anything we don't like" is one of the charming things about this board.

Tipper just nailed it. Don't sweat the taunts, OP. This board has always had its white knights, and Gerald has too often allowed those defenders to get away with rude conduct in their rebuking of a critical SP review. It is what it is. It's Gerald's forum. He doesn't really have to answer for anything he doesn't want to, I guess. But the forum could be so much more if didn't play favourites with certain rude posters. For the record, you're right about posters making inaccurate reviews. I don't know if they do it consciously (maybe they're in love) or if a not-entirely-honest review is made to curry favour with a favourite girl. Whatever the reason, those types of reviews do make this board a less effective medium for info. I usually take certain posters' comments with a grain of salt.

Sorry to hear you got screwed over.

It happens, though.

IMO, the OP is makes a complaint and in the same breath, not giving specifics of whom the poor experience is with. State who the Coffee providers are and why you were disappointed. You don't have to drag their name through the mud but, you can mention who they are, if the pics are old, or the person is 10 plus years older than the pics suggest and or, the SP is heavier than what they state.

It's fair feedback without being insulting.

As for the ladies of this board, I would say from the vast majority, they represent themselves very well. No white knight, no flower rimmed glasses.

Anika, Dylan, Natalia, Payton have all been better than advertised. Pics and coffee.

I have mentioned a couple of BP exploits that didn't go well, and had another member chime in and express a completely different experience.

Was my experience accurate? Was I trying to warn fellow coffee connoisseurs? Or was I just jilted and wanting to negatively affect the coffee provider's business? I believe it was accurate and I'm sure the other member was accurate as well. Two different people. Completely different opinions.

For me, this board does provide a joint community service to both coffee houses and those that enjoy coffee. Not everyone likes Timmies, some even hate it. Others are McDs while others go to Starbucks or Second cup etc.

They hang a shingle, serve their best brew. Some feedback is valuable. Others is not.

I find the quality of information here much better than other places were you have no idea if things are fact or fiction.
