New attendant Ella

I will not be seeing Ella again and I suggest you gents be wary of considering her. Our session started off fine; but was soured by the end.

I'd been looking to treat myself after a long week of helping friends move and doing some landscaping for a relative whom lives close by to me. I booked a 1hr session in the VIP room, not a fan of the reg tables, with the new, attractive attendant Ella for midnight (important later). Like with every attendant I see for the first time I like to get a sense of their default performance before seeing them again.

So come the end of the massage, she asks for her tip and said that the min tipping amount must match the door fee. I was a little befuddled as within the last 3 weeks I had met Lola, Erica and Jen for the first time and none of them had mentioned/ requested this minimum tip. She was nice enough to not cause a scene and accept what little I had in my wallet; but that soured the otherwise delightful session. My mood worsened when I got outside to call a cab, only to find out that my 1hr session was actually 30 min-ish (arrived at 11:58, massage started around 12:05ish and was out at 12:37; the massage was quite relaxing and I wasn't fixated on the time)

So in summation, I paid for a 1hr VIP massage but only got 30 min worth and was essentially coerced into giving a minimum tip that no other attendant has asked of me.

Out of curiosity, assuming you went "tonight" (technically last night at the time of this writing), why did you choose Ella in the first place instead of, say, Tina? Her picture(s) look quite ravashing.

Yes it was the night of Thurs June 30th.

I had attempted to book Tina first; but she was booked solid. And so my eyes wandered to Ella, who's pics & measurements on her profile tickled my fancy.

I've never been to a parlour but your experience sounds somewhat indicative of what I perceive the typical parlour experience to be, an institutionalized hustle with multiple hands trying to get into your wallet, turn off! Perhaps I'm wrong but that's why I haven't gone.

I have had similar issues with all newer ladies that I have seen lately. Parlours are going to be a little more because of door fee, and I think the asking of a tip similar to door fee IS in fact fairly standard. But for that you should get your full time and some caring attention instead of complete indifference. There are some good attendants but they are often tough to book. I wouldn’t book an hour first time unless I was sure of what I was getting.

I'd like to make an addendum to my initial post. A veteran member of this forum/ spa hobby community was kind enough to reach out privately to help me understand how the aforementioned events may have come to pass. One such explanation was that the spas' webite did include a form of tip advisory; albeit tucked away on the 4th page/ tab and buried at the bottom under paragraphs of legal disclaimers.

So I do wish to apologize in regard to saying that I was "essentially coerced" into tipping.

I would like to suggest a reform be made to the website and the consistency amongst the attendants end of session wrap up.

With the website, an updated and accurate tipping advisory, along with any disclaimers necessary, should be amongst the forefront images on the services page. For the sake of transparency, it should disclose how the up to date pay structure of a session works [ I.e: door fee + tip (min $ = door fee) ]

For the attendants there should be a consistent approach to the end of session wrap up. When I saw the aforementioned attendants for the first time, our sessions went akin to this: I walked in, asked for specific attendant, went in right away if they're free or made appointment & killed time till then. Paid door fee, had massage and everything entailed. They gave me time to clean up and get dressed; then they gave parting pleasantries, not mentioning a tip, and sent me on my way.

This lax style of session wrap up gives a false sense of how the end of a session is supposed to transpire and can lead to awkward, mood killing moments like that of last night.

Again, I do apologize for hastily writing my initial post while in a sour mood; but there does need to be more transparency and consistency with session structure.

Indeed, though it is amusing that in a subsequent post, OP confirmed that he did indeed intend to solicit Tina, first haha. I know that beauty is subjective when two people are very similar, but I mean, come on - Tina looks like she's in another league altogether! No disrespect intended, necessarily, to Ella.

From my (limited) experience, your experience will vary tremendously. Not only is your own attractiveness (e.g., are you in shape? face? hair? well-dressed? Good hygiene?) going to influence how a "typical" attendant will react to you, but it will (obviously) vary depending on the attendant, and then of course the unique interaction between you and said attendant.

I have in the past had really ho-hum experiences where it did feel like the value wasn't there, as well as interactions that felt like super amazing value for the money spent. I typically visit about 1-2x per year since about 2015 (back when they had to ID me to make sure I was over 18), so maybe not a lot of experience but perhaps a decent amount.

A lot of it is about finding the right attendant that checks most of the boxes. You're likely not going to find one that checks all of them. It's not always easy. Sometimes it's real easy.

I hope no one ever gets discouraged by 1 bad visit. There are plenty of attendants to make up for it. I get that there can be YMMV but it's always nice to find attendants that don't care so much about your body type or looks as I'm a bit of a fat fuck. There are plenty of attendants at the chain where as long as you're clean(good oral and bodily hygiene), respectful, nice, can somewhat carry a conversation and keep mostly shocking comments about taboo topics to either none/minimal amounts, then your session will go great.

When some of the ladies are new, their time management skills are kind of lacking. They don't always have a great sense of how long or short sessions should feel. Then there are the veterans who have hands down nearly perfected it.
