I've had stuff like this happen over the years, but I'm local, and I take is as "shit happens". It's all based on the written pen and what the attendants can remember. I'd rather not have them bump up the door fee because they now have to pay someone to administrate and manage all of the scheduling. Logically it would seem like management could handle it.
I know they generally try to have the same lady working the front but that can't always happen especially if said lady gets interest from a walk-in or has an appointment. Sometimes shit just gets lost in the clusterfuck of it all. I feel for you and that would really suck being from out of town and all.
Not all people are great admins and sometimes it shows.
