Of course anything I've done in this hobby is all relative. My entire time in it is but a tiny fraction of the time many others have been doing it. I wouldn't disrespect those of you whom have done this for many times longer by claiming I know more, because I know I don't.
I can say that since discovering this site, I have spent all of my time reading and never posting only to have that shift in the last several months to 90% reading and most of the the rest of the time wracking my brain to come up with a new word for a few forum word games. In contrast, my time spent on the other board has been nearly the exact opposite. No fun and games there, except the ridiculous drama is fun to watch occasionally. Lack of quality posts on here is exactly what I'm trying to change. Just so far it's been mostly about being the Captain of the HMS Obvious.  |
Eloquently put. I spent a year and a half on this board posting as much as I could supporting the ladies I visited and interacting with members having some fun. I know some of the things I posted annoyed more than a few people but I'm sure it made for a good read. I'm a bit of a goof that way. Now that I'm retired from the hobby, the only reason I come back to the board is to check on what's happening and have a chuckle or two. It's always entertaining to see things get shook up. More importantly, to me anyway, when I did hobby, I saw the ladies from LS exclusively. I was never a toftt kinda guy and I don't even think I hobbied in the true sense of the word. I was lonely and I spent some very nice moments with ladies who for a short period of time, made me feel wonderful. I'm not lonely anymore, therefore I don't hobby. That's just me. Keep the board going guys. Have fun and keep shakin shit up.
Oh, and if I should have used "shaken up" instead of shook up, I would appreciate anyone letting me know the error of my ways.
