seeking Grand Ave
 

Hey all

So there was a friend I used to see and she used to live on Grand Ave. This was before the whole BP went down and I used to see her in a regular basis but one day her phone went offline and was wondering if anyone knew of her. She lived on Grand Ave, and was in one of those houses that are a duplex or a few apartments more in one building just down the street from the Pizza Hut. Does anyone know her or who I am talking about? Long blonde hair, black frame glasses, very cute and a nice giggle.

Am trying to find her and was wondering if she moved away or was still around London.

She might not appreciate details being given out, especially on a public forum thread. She probably had a reason to drop her number.

True she wouldn't want personal information revealed, but I believe he is just looking to find her if she's still actively working. Since BP was shut down, she could be advertising elsewhere.
Although we all know, there are no other places to advertise on....:innocent:

and yes that is right, that is my exact purpose. As for the details, well that's the thing. She went by the name summer BUT, I know for a fact she is not the summer that advertises here. Besides these are all details that anyone would see if they knew her or seen her old BP ad. I just want to find out if she retired, moved, etc and hope she is ok. It was unlike her to just disappear.

Hey! An idea for a new section! lmao

I think it kind of sums up what a lot of guys experience.
You search and search and search till you finally find someone who pushes all the right buttons. Then she retires or moves away and you have to start looking all over again.
An endless circle of lost and found....

Although that's not necessarily a bad thing. Kind of like taste-testing cupcakes. You keep trying different cupcakes to find the one you like the best.

As I was reading your post I remembered you had diabetes and I just had to make a joke, and was really excited and looking forward to making that joke, and then you beat me to it and now I’m trying to think of there’s ever been a time I’ve been left feeling so unsatisfied by a man...

I'm sorry, I didn't get the impression that he was looking for her personal phone number etc. and didn't mean to imply such.

Rather: say she's dropped her work number and no longer has an obvious ad, but is now working with a different ad and number (the scenario most likely to elicit an answer). To me, the most likely explanation for that is that she's deliberately distancing herself from her old persona, for any number of legitimate reasons. If that's the case, identifying her old and new persona together in a public forum thread invalidates that. Any human (or possibly machine) can easily link the two personas.

I have been accused of being paranoid in the past, though. And it's also possible that, in an unfortunate coincidence, she lost access to her old number around the same time that backpage was shut down.
