Because the SP is paying all the bills? I can't say for sure since I haven't gone to a parlour, but are you comparing what you pay at the door plus what you tip the MP to what you pay the SP?
The SP, being independent (for the most part) generally prices her time based on SP services. If she provides massage services, she is still taking up time that could possibly have been used to make SP services money, so while the price might be less than SP prices, it could still be higher than a parlour charges. A parlour has several ladies working, and goes 24 hours a day, and therefore many more customers to spread the overhead costs around with. |
