Preferences- book ahead or pick and go?
Being a little fresh to this new hobby, which is awesome, I have found a preference to book ahead as my schedule allows so I get the preferred time and company I am looking for. And being new here the choices are great.
I understand timing is everything for most of us, but when you have the opportunity do you prefer to book ahead or pick and go? |
Re: Preferences- book ahead or pick and go?
when my work allowed I prefer to book in advance with my fav ladies
and sometimes when I get unexpected time off I hope for the best and let my fingers do the walking. |
Re: Preferences- book ahead or pick and go?
Definitely book ahead.
I find half the fun is in the anticipation of the meeting. Also my regulars tend to be busy enough that it works better if I can plan around their schedules. Berny Home already - very slow friday. |

Pick and Go
I'm a fly by the seat of my pants kind of guy. I only see a few ladies on L.S. So if they can fit me in great if not, tomorrow is a other day. |

Re: Preferences- book ahead or pick and go?
I used to be a planner. Anywhere from a few days to a few months in a couple rare cases. I would say in the last year, other than one lady touring through with whom I made advance plans, all my other encounters have been same day arrangements as the mood and opportunity strike.

Re: Preferences- book ahead or pick and go?
Menno11 this is really a question for the Sugars.Us spoons may have a preference as to when we dip and stir but ultimately the sugars decide if they will hold advance bookings or take it as it comes. There are some bitter little sugar cubes that take advance multiple bookings only to fill a drawer full of spoons so they can select them as they wish leaving the others to collect in the junk drawer. In some cases I think they enjoy salting the sugar bowl....most frustrating!

Re: Preferences- book ahead or pick and go?
Between my personal life and work, planning ahead only leads to disappointment. Needing to reschedule or cancel.
Some hobbiest like myself end up seeing a few regulars or a regular etc. Get to know each other and have common courtesy. One thing I can say. Last minute booking with a unknown BP ad generally ends up in disappointment. It's frustrating on both sides when an appointment is made and one is left hanging. I've had an SP leave me waiting in a parking lot for a while. I txt'd my arrival and waited. After I finish my coffee, I politely txt them and advise they must have got busy so, I made other arrangements. It happens. Just don't book and no show. |
Re: Preferences- book ahead or pick and go?
Does booking 2-3 hours before count as ahead ?

Re: Preferences- book ahead or pick and go?
It kinda depends. If you are set on a specific provider for a visit, planning ahead provides a better success rate. Sure last minute emergencies can happen on either side but if you wait till last minute, she may be booked or not working. If you're flexible on who you see or when you see them, I'm sure last minute works out just fine. I'm not from London so when I know ahead of time I need to go for some reason, the planning ahead begins!

Yogi Bear- In my opinion I would consider a same day appointment as pick and go and Next day or more as booked in advance.

Re: Preferences- book ahead or pick and go?
Prefer pre-books and for the most part have usually worked out okay. Have done same day appointments with mixed more results vs pre-books.
Either way always have a back up (or 2) just in case. LTO_3 |
